Flames and Waves

This design is done for one bedroom condo in Toronto By S&A Decor.

From the beginning of time humans have been attracted to nature. Watching burning flame and running water calms people down and makes  us feel at ease. Blue sky and the warmth of wood unite us with the world around. In this project the goal was to capture the combine all the elements of nature to achieve the relaxing atmosphere.

Two elements are fused together in one room. On the one hand water panel, on the other the electric heater and LED ceiling lights in red shades.
It is known fact that the running water and flames can be watched endlessly and that they facilitate relaxation. For this reason our customers want to install water panel in the apartment, which also looks great in the interior. For contrast and to make living room more comfortable we decided to add the element of fire by installing an electric fireplace in it. To continue in the direction of using natural elements we added a wall in the living room decorated with wooden paneling. Bathroom was also decorated issued tiles that imitating natural wood and marble.

"Fire" element of the interior is LED ceiling lights with varying shades of red spectrum warms the interior.
Built-in white closet in the hallway merges with the wall and is almost invisible

Next to whit kitchen furniture and cabinetry brown counter top and backsplash create quite a contrast with and visually unites kitchen with living room with brown sofa.

Kitchen and living area are being visually separated by small countertop.

Metal parts of furniture and light fixtures are covered with decorative paint with effect of crumpled silver.

Textile chosen for curtains allows to transmit daylight without changing its color.

Three piece "Fire and Water"  in the bedroom support the overall concept of the interior.
